I first contacted Angela in 2013 to give me some guidance for an upcoming audit in my RTO. Happy to say that I would not have an RTO today if I didn’t get that assistance from her through that process. As a result of that success through audit she highlighted many areas of improvement for us and as a result I continue to use her guidance for a variety of things within my business. Absolute professional and even though she will tell me “how it is” or moreover “how it should be” she always shows the best interest of my business in her advice. I would be lost without her as my backbone.
Once we navigated through the audit process, I decided to use some of her other services like annual professional development workshops with all of my trainers which helps them understand some of the finer points of compliance that they would not necessarily encounter regularly. This has been invaluable to the growth of my business and has taken a lot of the workload away from just one person to make it a shared journey.
I also engage Angela to write assessment kits for me if we add to scope or wish to increase our offerings. They are written in the same format that I have developed many of my own assessments and come as a full package of written material and marker’s guides. A fantastic relief when I just don’t have the time to sit down and develop material but still wish to grow my business and offer my clients what they want.
I have now used RTO Consulting for 8 years and I have learnt more from Angela than I can even try and digest from reading Standards and Requirements and without her skills and knowledge I would be nervous to go through audit. Recently James Technologies (Training) completed our re-registration with ASQA. This would not have been completed without the professional assistance of Angela McGregor.
James Technologies (Training) were requested by ASQA to rectify some aspects of our training. After failing a review by ASQA of our own rectifications, we engaged the consulting services provided by RTO Consulting to assist our RTO in addressing the rectifications required by ASQA during appeal through the Australian Appeals Tribunal.
We called Angela who was able to confidently answer our questions over the phone and arranged a time to review the audit report and address the rectifications. Angela was quickly able to establish what was required for the resubmission and set about addressing the requirements.
Angela provided support and guidance throughout the process, giving us the confidence that the issues would be addressed and the suspension removed.
Angela rewrote the assessments and compiled the resubmission which was quickly approved by ASQA and the suspension on the RTO lifted and re-registration granted.
We have no hesitation in recommending Angela to other RTOs to assist in understanding the current requirements for compliance or in assisting in addressing rectifications.

My name is Carol Williams and about 18 months ago embarked on a decision to open an RTO in relation to Training beauty therapist I felt strongly about this decision as being a salon owner for the past 20 years I could identify the gaps in training and training packages.

Angela took on a tricky case when she agreed to help me create and apply for a Diploma in Health and Wellness coaching.. Not only is it a new field, but it is so often misunderstood by many.
We had to work together to design a program that covered what I wanted covered, yet met all the strict criteria of ASQA. We wrote draft after draft after draft and finally submitted what we thought was a thorough job. Not that easy!

We came to Angela at RTO Consulting at the tail end of a gruelling two year process of approval for an Advanced Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Theology. What was required was an expert who understood the language, the mindset and the finer detail of RTO and ASQA in order to get us over the line after a non-compliant result.
After the initial phone call there was no doubt we had made the right call. Her authority, calmness and ability to explain and reassure us was a breath of relief. She did not over-complicate, but instead just informed us of the aspects she needed from us while taking care of everything else.
